Barb Frye does not let the fact that she is in a wheel chair slow her down. Barb is a wife and a mother, and she recently recieved her Masters in Clinical Counseling at The University of Akron. Barb resides in Medina, Ohio–the same town where she grew up.

Barb spends much of her time lending her considerable wit and wisdom to motivational speaking. Barb teaches her audiences how to get past personal shortcomings and move forward productively in their lives. With her humor and positive attitude, Barb is able to make difficult topics entertaining and enlightening. Barb speaks to groups of all ages, backgrounds and interests. In her program, Barb talks about not letting adversity get in the way of achievement; she encourages attendees to reflect on personal feelings and judgments toward a given situation.

“Barb Frye gave an outstanding presentation at our Annual Administrative Assistant Day Event.  If you weren't feeling motivated before the presentation, you surely were after her talk on her traumatic life changing experience. It taught me that when I think I'm having ‘A Bad Day’ I'm probably not. The bonus with Barb is how funny she is about the whole situation.  Barb is someone that when you walk into a room and meet her, you feel like you have known her your whole life!”
